Role Overview
The IT Manager is responsible for leading and managing all IT operations across Phoenix Contact Southeast Asia, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable IT systems that support business growth, digital transformation, and operational continuity.
This role acts as the bridge between global IT (DPS/Group IT) and local business units, ensuring alignment with global standards while addressing regional business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Operations & Service Delivery
Oversee day-to-day IT operations across SEA (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam)
Ensure effective L1–L3 support structure for business users
Manage IT infrastructure, systems availability, and incident resolution
Maintain IT service levels aligned with global SLAs
2. Infrastructure & Systems Management
Manage regional IT infrastructure (network, servers, cloud, endpoints)
Ensure system stability, performance, and scalability
Oversee lifecycle management of hardware and software assets
Support major enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, CRM, collaboration platforms)
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Group IT policies and local regulations
Implement cybersecurity measures, risk monitoring, and mitigation
Govern user access, data protection, and IT audits
Act as escalation point for IT security incidents
4. Digital Transformation & Projects
Lead regional IT/digital initiatives (e.g., SAP rollout, automation, AI adoption)
Partner with business functions (Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance) to identify IT needs
Manage project delivery, timelines, and stakeholder alignment
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement
5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
Serve as primary IT interface between SEA management and global IT teams
Collaborate with DPS (Digital Processes & Solutions) and Corporate IT
Manage external vendors, service providers, and outsourcing partners
Align IT priorities with business strategy
6. Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead and develop regional IT team (including IT coordinators/support staff)
Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations
Build capabilities in emerging areas (cloud, cybersecurity, AI)
Foster a service-oriented and collaborative IT culture
7. Budget & Governance
Manage IT budget, cost optimization, and investment planning
Ensure alignment with corporate governance and approval processes
Track IT performance metrics and reporting
Key Requirements
Experience
8–12+ years in IT operations, infrastructure, or enterprise systems
Experience managing regional IT operations (multi-country environment preferred)
Proven track record in digital transformation / ERP / SAP projects
